President Trump proudly announces that he’s receiving "great reviews" for the revamped White House Rose Garden, which has recently transitioned from its lush lawn to a paved stone patio.Since its debut in 1913, the Rose Garden has been the backdrop for numerous presidential events, but under Trump's leadership, the iconic garden has undergone significant transformation, leaving rose bushes and other greenery along the edges.
On August 3, Trump shared his thoughts with reporters: "We’re getting great reviews of the Rose Garden, and we had to do it." He explained that the previous grass surface posed challenges during events, often resulting in muddy conditions. "We found that during press conferences, you'd sink into the mud. The grass was consistently wet, and after rain, it would take several days to dry out, making it difficult to utilize the space effectively," Trump noted. The new patio design mirrors the elegant outdoor areas of Mar-a-Lago, Trump's lavish resort and residence in Florida.
